This blog was initially created to participate in a friend’s awesome giveaways. After much participation, and not much winning, I decided to put some good use to this tool and started blogging. In 2011, Mama and the City became more than just a way to get some swag — it became an honest-to-goodness blog.
As for the mama behind Mama and the City, I completed my BSc in Industrial Engineering and Business Management, and currently work full time. This is where the real challenge begins — balancing career, family and being a mama. Being a mom (of one chiquita at the moment) pushes me to write about my family, and challenges me to try new things in the name of Parenting.
And because of my Mexican background, I’m always — siempre, you might say — on the hunt for a great taco. I enjoy good food, either at home (oh yes, I cook too) or at a worth-of-mouth recommended restaurant.
