I am a very observant person. I like studying people’s faces and personalities. I guess I developed that as a survival mechanism or just because I like psychology? A catch 22 for sure.
Anyway, last night I told my mom that she makes faces when talking. Of course, that did not end up well since she took it as a way of me criticizing her.
Some of them are funny, some of them are cute but there are some that are just ugly and quite frankly, scary.
I fear for her, really, I do. What if a cold wind hits her face and permanently leaves that face printed on her. Oh Dios mio!
Here are some examples of her repertoire:
Please imagine living with a person that makes these faces All. Day. Long. Yeah. The funny thing is, my baby finds it hilarious. That’s a hidden bonus.
What I noticed last night only lead me to one thing this morning; me starting to look at everybody’s faces on my way to work. The look on their faces as they get in a bus and move along is just fascinating. Some of them repeat the same facial expressions as above and I really fear wonder if I make one as well. If I ever do, I hope at least my kids tell me, I do not want to be scared for life in the event of a cold wind hitting my face and leaving me with such present.
