I was sceptical at first for seeing being blue cheese, but the sharpness on the cheese was very subtle and well balanced with the sweetness added to the pecan and apricot. This is highly recommended.
Mini caprese spoons. Cherry tomato, baby bocconcini, fresh basil, toasted croûton. This was second in my list. The flavours here were very familiar as I have tried then in Italian salads, but I was happy to see it in bite size. Refreshing, not overpowering and very delicious.
Prosciutto melon tartlets. melon pearls, basil gelee. This tartlet was as well refreshing and delicious. As you put your teeth into it the flavours of the tartlet start to work it’s way to your brain, you must keep eating. One thing that didn’t work for me was the prosciutto. I could be happily eating 10 of this with out it. But other than that, deliciously addictive.
Albacore tuna poke cones. sesame cone, chili, Szechuan soy dressing, tobiko. Creative and delicious. If I were at home I would have been able to enjoy them more, you know, grabbing them with my hands and be messy. Still worth the stain if falling on your favourite jeans.
Sockeye salmon tartar. pickled golden beets, lemon zest, tarragon, brioche crostini. Also delicious.
Tiger prawn ceviche spoons. fresh lime, vodka, chive, chili, jicama. Okay, there was a little bit of discontent with the flavours on this one, mostly because ‘they’ (not me) seemed to think there was rancid lemon after-taste. I quite liked it. I think it was the mix of vodka that threw them off, but I still found this bite deliciously refreshing and very light. I say try it.
