It’s been a spooktacular week in Vancouver; which despite of the early arrival of the cold temperatures the city has been very inviting to me to go out and enjoy the whimsical feeling of the fog.
Every morning for the past 7 days I had this urge of grabbing the D7000 and just skip up work and get lost in space.I had the urge of observe and explore and be inspired to be creative, to push me to try a different technique of shooting, Something was calling me to experience this natural phenomenon.
Since I don’t work on the weekends, as soon as we finished breakfast we were on a quest to chase the fog. We couldn’t see it at see level any more, so we decided to go higher, and visited the Naheeno Park located at SFU.
These are only a couple (of the hundreds) of pictures I took yesterday. I hope they can tell the story, as much as my words do.
1. Anyone interested in play?
2. “Someone is watching us mommy”
3. Don’t worry sweetie, we are fine. You can relax and enjoy your swings.
4. Okay, maybe not. (I swear I was expecting to see dark silhouettes coming out of the fog, but then I thought, better not…)
5. This is nice.
6. Look! Just look.
7. Okay, The Witch Blair Project anyone?
8. “Mommy, what was that!!?”
9. Ruuuuuuuunnnnnnnn Mommy!!
10. Awww you didn’t run.
Who knew all I needed was a little fog. This mini outing helped me defog my thoughts and my inspiration, I am very happy with what I got: lot’s of learning, captured memories, appreciation of nature and time well spent with the family.
