Holy wrestlers Batman! this was a fun, busy, sad and scary week. Bipolar anyone?
For obvious reasons, Dec 24 and 25 were the fun and busy of the week. I always enjoy this time with my family, at my abuela’s house. There was a big batch of tamales made, frijoles (bean soup), asada (bbq meat). And this year, it was extra awesome by paying a Santa to come over the house to hand down candy and be available for pictures. Finishing the day with the traditional piñata. My little one loved it.
But, everything good has to come to an end and the car I borrowed to be in the city I had to return. Driving a car in Mexico, especially when traveling with kids, is a big help.
Scarily the day before returning the car I visited my grandma and just 4 houses apart I got into a tiny micro accident. Streets in some old towns in Mexico are very stretch and some of those houses are very small with a lot of family members who almost all of them own a car. So, you can only imagine the street, packed! I hit a truck – nothing major, in fact, it was merely anything. I just “pushed” it super mega gently. Unfortunately, the owner and all the people in the house came outside with their let’s-intimidate acting. Since nothing happened to the truck, I left, but I couldn’t stop blaming myself for the following 20 minutes at my so-stupid-so-obvious-shouldn’t-have-had-happened moment.
Anyway, since I am on foot now I have stayed at home these past 3 days pretty much resting. I needed it. So enough about me, here it is the last 3 photos of the Elf.
1. This elf worked hard making tamales on Christmas Eve.
2. < Fiesta Time > This elf knows how to party.
3. < Clueless > “Where is the send button?” – This Elf no comprende.
Do you think this Elf had too much fun? Take a peek at Week 1 and Week 2 if you missed them.

well, I kind of feel this year the elf might be in the house too. I had the opportunity to visit family so I had to take the elf, right?
